SAN FRANCISCO – Genstar Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm that focuses on investments in targeted segments of healthcare, software, financial services, and industrial technology industries, today announced the appointment of Harry Totonis, an experienced leader with a nearly 30 year track-record of success, to the firm’s Strategic Advisory Board (SAB).
Mr. Totonis most recently served as President and CEO of Surescripts, the Nation’s largest e-prescribing and clinical information exchange network, since 2009. Prior to that, he was Group Executive at MasterCard Worldwide from 2004 – 2009 and from 2000 – 2004 he served as President and CEO of Kinexus. He began his professional career at Booz Allen & Hamilton and, during his 15 years there, Mr. Totonis focused on strategy consulting for large global companies at a CEO level. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and received an MBA in finance from Fisher College at Ohio State University.
